Objectives for this route:
Mantas on cleaning stations, mantas at night, nurse sharks in Vaavu,
pelagic life, and schools of sharks in the channels of Meemu, Laamu, and
Gaafu, whale sharks at night in Thaa, tiger sharks and silvertip sharks
Our team at MALDIVES BLUE FORCE ONE has planned the liveaboard season in the Atolls of southern Maldives for the months in which the conditions are optimum for diving in this area of the country. In 2023 the boat will start its Southern Maldives season with two exceptional 10 and 11-day liveaboards leaving from Male and ending in Fuvahmullah and vice versa. By extending the number of days on board, this route permits us to dive, on the same trip, what can possibly be considered the “BEST OF THE MALDIVES”.
January 31st to February 11th, 2023 (11 nights)
Tuesday, January 31st: MALE AIRPORT – GAAFU ATOLL - MALDIVES BLUE FORCE ONE.
Arrival at Male airport. Pass through immigration. Pick up bags. National terminal, check-in, and flight from Male to Koodoo. Arrival at Koodooo, bag pickup. Transfer to MALDIVES BLUE FORCE ONE. Cabin assignment, boat briefing, dive briefing, itinerary…. live aboard begins
Wednesday 1st to Friday 10th of February: LIVEABOARD “BEST OF MALDIVES” ROUTE
Diving on the Atolls of Ari, Vaavu, Meemu, Thaa, Laamu, Gaafu y Fuvahmulah with an average of 3 dives per day, including night dives. Depending on the diving conditions, the number of daily dives can vary, but we guarantee a total of 30 dives for this route.
We will combine diving with visits to the islands, sunset chillouts, kayaking, paddleboarding, jacuzzi, and relax time…. Last day arriving at Male, rinsing dive gear, relaxing onboard and U.W. photo and video show after dinner.
Saturday 11th of February: MALE AIRPORT
Disembarking in the Male airport. Depending on the flight times, visiting Male to see the city and do some last-minute shopping might be possible. (possibility to book a day room at the hotel either in Male or at the airport in Hulhumale )
We recommend that you book your flights with arrival in Male before 12.00 midday and with later departure at 12.00 noon for best domestic flight connections with the boat not to miss any dive
FOR SOUTH HEMISPHERE IS COMPULSORY TO HAVE AT LEAST 100 LOGED DIVES
Passengers holding EU nationality need to have their passport valid for at least six months since departure from Maldives.
Other nationalities check with Consulate/Embassy representatives conditions of entry in Maldives.
All payments on board can be in USD or €. Credit cards accepted with a surcharge of 3%. American Express non-accepted.
The diver is responsible for holding the corresponding Diving Certificate for dives to be done. If the diver doesn’t hold the required certificate or the guide in charge of going along with the divers considers, for any reason, that the client is not qualified for some dive, he will have full authority not to allow the client for such dive. Besides, Blue Force Diving won’t commit itself to make any deduction for that.
Due to sea conditions, weather conditions or any other factors, the boat/cruise staff reserves the right to change the route totally or partially without prior warning.No refund will be issued for such circumstances.
For all the clients that book sharing cabins, Blue Force reserves the right to change the number of the cabin. We will maintain always the rate and the category.
